Christmas is almost upon us...

A few weeks ago Mitch and I were doing some laundry after church and Jake snached one of Mitch's dress socks. For some reason Jake has an obession with socks.... and more often than not he'll give them up rather quickly.... BUT that wasn't the case for that day. He really wanted that sock. LOL. When Jake won't give something up without biting back and we don't want to deal we send him to his 'room' and he knows he gets it. He thought that would work the same for the sock. Oh my goodness he makes me laugh! He wasn't going to give that sock up to save his life! We tried a treat.... nothing.... I shoved the treat into his mouth... nothing..... after 10 mins or so we tried a piece of thanksgiving turkey. Jake thought that was a fair enough trade :) LOL.
Silly Jake.

I've been meaning to sit down and catch up blogging but I just haven't had the energy to actually do it. I have lots of pictures too.... maybe I'll get around to it one of these days...

Mitch and I just finished christmas shopping :) Yea for not shopping on Christmas eve. Mitch decided after waiting in line for over in hour at Victoria Secrets for lotion last christmas eve that we'd avoid doing such this year. lol. It feels good to be done. And I LOVE all the pretty wrapped gifts under my tree :) Now if only the last package would arrive!

Mitch and I are taking next week off :) AH VACATION!! We are both in need of a
relaxing week. We thought about going out of town... but decided staying home costs less
and less stress with travel. We are hoping to go snowboarding, watch lots of movies and eat
lots of yummy food!! And hang out with family too!

Mitch got a NEW job!! He passed all his interviews at an investment firm, and was offered a job! HOORAY!!! We are so excited! This isn't just a job but also a career for him!
Wells Fargo has been a huge blessing to us, but we are thrilled to be moving on up :)
He starts on January 10th. They will also give him his Series 7 and 63 licenses, where Wells Fargo most likely would have never licensed him. Funny thing is we had been waiting and waiting and waiting for Wells Fargo to extend Mitch a job promotion to personal banker. The following week after the job offer at an investment firm, Mitch was finally offered a personal banker position. I guess it wasn't meant to be. We are very excited and very grateful, wish him luck!
