We keep animals behind the store for our Pumpkinland festival we put on in October. When I was really little I remember baby cows, but for the most part its been chickens, turkeys, ducks {they were my idea}, lots of bunnies and goats. When Hope was a baby, one of the momma goats had a kid and rejected her, so we brought the baby home and helped nurse it. Sammy was his name. Golly we had fun! We kept Sammy in the side yard since it was fenced. It was one of the coolest things ever {as kids.... we didn't really like the chickens we had. Thats another story lol.} Needless to say we have found memories of baby goats!
The other day Grant and Lupita walked into the store with a baby goat!! She was the most darling and pretty goats I had ever seen!! Her name is Milee.

We have a neighbor down the road who has goats and one of the females recently had 3 kids. Milee is the runt and the momma rejected her. She is 2 weeks old and such a sweet girl! Plus she smells yummy {only a baby goat could smell yummy! Its true!} He was sweet and let us fawn on her all day on Friday. We are crossing our fingers that we can give her a permenant home in the coming weeks!! Like I said folks....
she is the most beautiful goat ever!!

Hey! Missed you today. Would you like to go to the RS dinner with me on Tuesday evening? 7-8:30?
and btw...the goat is super cute! :)
I think a goat is a prefect St. Patrick's gift :) Just kidding. I hope I get to meet her before she goes! By the way I love your new pictures on your blog.
So the picture of you and the goat looks like it should be on a poster. Your smile is adorable! :)
