Socializing {101}

Socializing is a very important thing.... especially with my monkeys!

The sunshine was calling my name all afternoon!! 'Holly...... come outside...... come play in my warmth....' All day people! It sure makes it hard to focus on work with when the sun is singing to me. I called it a day at 4:30 and came home to go enjoy a walk with my boys in the beautiful weather!! GOLLY it was AMAZING!!!

Now that I've clipped Cezar to Jake, walking is a breeze! I actually look forward to it!! {Before... not so much with Cezar} We walked and walked and walked. We walked ALL the way up to the AF Temple... around the temple and all the way back home! I think that was like 3 miles people!! I'll probably be feeling it by the morning.... lol. It was GLORIOUS!! The sun was shinning the whole time! The boys were excellent walking companions. We met a whole bunch of funny looking goats and we watched them. Cezar was not a fan. We also stopped to greet some charming horses. They came right on over to meet us. Jake has always been fond of horses and enjoys greeting them. Cezar- not at all!! He was terrified of them. BUT socializing is critical... and we are behind with him. We worked on it... we'll have to go back some more to chat up these large new friends.

As we neared the home, we walked passed some kids that were eager to meet these 'super friendly' boys. I was holding my breath as the kids let the boys smell them and then pet them.... {they are not the most child friendly dogs, especially when they don't know them} GUESS WHAT?!!! It was a MIRACLE!! They both were very nice!! HOORAY!!! :) Made me a proud momma!! That's for sure!

It was a succesful socializing session/ walk today :) Can't wait for the next one!!
