So there is this guy who had a brilliant idea of getting up at 2am to start a road trip. Oh wait, that was my Hubby. Good golly I didn't realize such an hour existed outside of that red eye flight we took once upon a time last year. After hearing such an awesome success story from my parents of an entire 12 hr trip into yellowstone, we rethought our attack plan. 2 am sounded better because we would drive most of the trip in the dark coolness of night. And we'd get their early to mid morning. A genius idea... Until the alarm clock sounded and my eyes felt like they had sand in them. Poor Jakey thought he was going with us. Kissed the boys good bye, buckled up and hit the road. {thanks again Abby for watching my babies!!} 3 hrs later we crossed through Utah, Wyoming and back into Utah. Headed for more Wyoming, Tetons and then Yellowstone to meet up with the fam. Yawn. Dawn would be appreciated right about now. Or nap time at least.
