Angels Landing

 Feeling good. Glad to be in the warmth of the sun. 

 It REALLY was this steep!! 

 I remember this little spot from years ago when my poppy and I attempted Angels landing

 Walter's wiggles were kicking my butt!! 

Definitely need to get in better shape.

 Climbing with the aid of a few anchored chains... 

I kept my eyes down and didn't look at the cliffs to my side...

{I may or may not be a little bit scared of heights...}

 We 'made' it. we decided to call it quits here. 

Too many people scaling up and down on the last little bit. 

We chose life.

Sure glad we passed that up.

Sure glad to be back on 'safer' ground.

 the river walk. checking to see how the narrows looked. thought we'd head back to change our shoes.

a total of 7 miles later.... we were beat!

we decided to pass on the narrows and thought lunch and a nap sounded better.

It was a great adventure and we were able to check Angels landing off our bucket list. yay!

{ps my body really hates me today. I can barely walk/move without wanting to cry.
