Thoughts with a side of snuggles
Monday was a fabulous day.
The weather was lovely.
I had a productive day at work.
I even felt very much like myself.
Nanna dropped by after helping Grandma for the afternoon.
A little girl time was exactly what I needed.
We chatted for an hour in the parking lot before we both had to head our own directions for the evening.
I sure love my sister!
Thanks for the girl time lady!
I even made it to Pilates and had a great workout.
It sure helps set the mood for the week.
Tuesday was my lucky day.
My second shipment of plants arrived - Regal Geraniums
I love spending my days in the greenhouse with the plants.
It's amazing how therapeutic it is.
I also spent some of my day with Grandma.
She is making great improvements lately.
We spent some time making cards for up coming birthdays and thank you cards
I've really come to embrace the time I am able to spend with her.
I never had a great relationship with her in the past.
But serving her while she has been sick and in her recovery it has helped me feel a connection with her.
I am grateful for the time I am able to spend with her lately.
Mitch had a guys night with Joe
which meant I was able to make it to Yoga last night.
Pilates really worked my back on Monday....
so it was perfect being able to go to yoga and stretch out all my sore muscles.
This morning I rolled over to to snooze my alarm...
the boys were eager to get up and go outside.
I told them it was daddy's turn and to pester him.
It worked ;)
Some mornings it's a little challenging to roll out of bed....
especially when its warm and cozy under the comforter.
Mitch got ready and headed to work,
I pulled out my lappy and went to let the boys upstairs
Cezar crawls into my lap and buries his nose into the comforter.
I love morning snuggles....
but sadly I think he wasn't feeling too well.
It's moments like those that I am grateful for the chance to snap a picture for my memory.
After lots of kisses and snuggles, Cezar finally perked up
Getting ready for the day I made sure I would have time to run grab a Chai
It was one of those mornings where a little pick me up was needed ;)
Here is to hoping that my extra day of the year is wonderful.
Dear Leap year... make it a good one
