dirt therapy
Can I just say how much I love flowers?!! Seriously I'm addicted.
My tulips are finally looking good at my house and the flower beds at work are full of color.
It feeds the soul.
I didn't get off work until 6:45 tonight. I'm pretty sure we'll be extending hours until 6:30 next week instead of the current 6. I didn't mind though.
Mitch got off early today. the joys of tax season being over for him.
He was a sweetheart and mowed the front lawn and even had dinner ready for me once I got home.
Then I headed out to clean up the boys messes in the back yard so Mitch can finish mowing tomorrow.
I couldn't resist enjoy the warm evening some more....
so I donned my gloves and finished cleaning out the leaves from the garden, shovel tilled some more for tomatoes I'll likely plant next week :)
good news is that I didn't crack myself in the head with the rake tonight either.
I headed to the front yard and continued working past dark.
planting some hens and chicks, gathering the rocks as I went {for my succulent terrariums...} and worked on digging out the grass from my flower beds.
I declare the evening a success.
There really isn't anything quite as therapeutic as digging in the garden.

Gorgeous photos, as always, and I agree, working in a garden is so theraputic, I always feel accomplished and happier when I'm done.
